Locations

The OLCA operates out of several different parks for our events.  Each park has a different quality to it that can bring out the best in certain gametypes.  However, if there is one park that has been our staple, its Mission Park West.

New Locations

The OLCA is always looking for new locations.  If you have ideas, please contact us through the OLCA Forum!
Mission Park West

Located near 168th St. and Harrison in West Omaha, Mission Park West is nestled in the southernmost part of the Mission Park Development.  The park has some nice features that make it the home of the "Fight Night" weekly battles.  With everything from Bridges, to densely treed in zones, to fields, Mission Park West is our most widely used location.  It is home to the "Independence Eve Blast", an annual cookout and game that takes place before the Fourth of July every summer.  Most people don't even know this park by its actual name, as it has been so frequently referred to as "The usual place".

Cattail Creek Park

Located northeast of the 192nd and Q St. intersection in Omaha, Cattail Creek is one of the newest parks that the OLCA uses.  It is slightly larger than Mission Park West and is better for large team vs team battles or Capture the Flag games.  Players who are used to Mission Park West have found using Cattail Creek to be very different in terms of strategies.  With no circular path, ambushing is much more difficult to pull off.  This park is particularly friendly to snipers, as there is little to hide behind for other players.  The park even has a long, almost completely defenseless stretch  on the western edge known as "Sniper Alley".

Quail Hollow

Located just north of Black Elk Elementary, Quail Hollow has quickly established itself as a Veteran favorite.  Though it is our smallest park, its dense coverage from plantlife, rapidly changing landscape, and close-quarters-feel make this park the adrenaline rush Veterans want!  This is not a park for your average sniper, as the cover is so thick that you can't shoot across the park!  Also, when night has completely fallen, the dense tree cover restricts any light from the night sky, encompassing the park in complete darkness.  Bring your flashlight and your "A" game to this park if you want to survive this intense rush!!
